Steve is the 3rd great grandson of pioneer William Welch, and a sixth generation Californian. Although a civil and structural engineer by profession as well as a proud UC Berkeley graduate (BS, MS, MBA), his passion belongs to agriculture. Steve meticulously tends to Rancho Las Juntas Vineyard, ensuring the grapes meet the most rigorous standards for William Welch Wines.

Coming from an agricultural family, Genene's favorite place to be is on a tractor and her favorite thing to do is plan a party. She uses her experience in finance as an investment broker to manage the winery and looks forward to growing the business as William Welch Wines expands to 837 Main Street, Martinez.
